Project preparation services
CLIC owner organizations and associate partners, who are paying the yearly service fee get 50 % discount on our project preparation services.
If you are not paying the yearly service fee, the full project preparation fees apply to you once you are a part of CLIC coordinated project preparation and the project application writing process has started.
Project preparation – Business Finland financed projects
Preparation work for one Co-Innovation project includes
- CLIC leads the co-preparation of the project plan, organises preparation workshops and bilateral meetings, and the leads the writing of the application documents for the project consortium
- CLIC opens, develops and submits the proposal in BF’s submission system
- CLIC finds missing consortium partners
- CLIC organises pre-submission interaction with Business Finland
Project preparation fees for Business Finland projects 2025
Fixed fee of 6,000 €*) per partner. A project partner commits to paying the fixed fee upon the decision to proceed with full preparation and submission. The submission date will be mutually agreed upon, and the fixed fee will be invoiced on this agreed submission date.
The aggregated fixed fee includes 400 effective hours (2.5 PM) of project preparation for a period of 4-6 months to complete and submit the proposal. Should the preparation and submission be delayed for reasons beyond CLIC’s control, a monthly interest rate of 20% will be added to the fixed fee for those partners that have missed the agreed deadline.

Project preparation – EU financed projects
Preparation work for one project includes
- CLIC leads the proposal preparation process
- CLIC opens the application in the Funding & Tenders portal for the coordinator, collects and uploads portal data, and develops the budget
- CLIC acts as the main editor for the technical part of the proposal and makes sure that the preparation work leads to a high-quality proposal
- CLIC finds missing consortium partners
Project preparation fees for EU projects 2025
Fixed fee of 20,000 € in total and to be shared between the consortium partners OR a fixed fee of 3,000 €*) per partner. The fixed fee will be invoiced immediately after submission.
In addition, if the project gets financing, a success fee of 4%*) calculated from each participant’s maximum grant amount will be charged.
