The SUSBINCO project focuses on creating bio-based aqueous formulations for packaging, paints, adhesives, and abrasives. The team, comprised of seven universities, research institutes, and eleven industry partners, is striving to replace fossil-based components with eco-friendly alternatives. The key highlight? Wood-based raw materials are utilized to address cost concerns and potential food source issues associated with existing bio-based dispersion barriers.
