ProjectBooster

CLIC ProjectBooster is a time-bound, challenge-driven innovation process designed to turn industry needs into high-impact RDI projects. It brings companies and academia together to co-create solutions to systemic challenges through focused, cross-sectoral collaboration.

The ProjectBooster process typically runs for 2–3 months and combines online tools with facilitated workshops. Challenges are defined by companies and translated into concrete research questions, with teams working side by side to shape new project concepts.

We are continuously looking for new ideas for upcoming ProjectBooster project preparations. You can submit your proposal through our IdeaBox—your idea will be handled in full confidence and not shared without your consent. We will contact you within two weeks to discuss your idea and explore how we can support its further development.

ProjectBooster is open to CLIC owner organizations and partners with a valid annual partnership fee.

We are looking for new ProjectBooster ideas that have:

  • Have potential for scalable impact
  • Require new research and innovation
  • Have novelty value
  • Benefit from an ecosystem setup meaning that any company alone would not be able to take the initiative forward
  • Help in solving systemic challenges
  • Support one of the themes in our SRIA’s
  • Every development idea in the evaluation phase must capture the interest of our company partners to be further developed, as our projects aim to support applied science development.
