4Recycling ecosystem www.4recycling.fi aims to tackle plastics challenge by developing cross-sectorally plastics recycling and bio-based alternatives for plastics. The ecosystem is open for organisations interested in finding new business or in building new competences in plastics’ recycling and bio-based alternatives. 4Recycling produces new solutions through joint RDI, influences on the operational environment, shapes the market for the focus areas and builds international partnerships.
Recycling focuses especially on
- Functional bio-based packaging in grocery trade
- Recycling technologies of multimaterial packaging in grocery trade
- Replacing plastics in construction
- New bio-based materials and plastics recycling of fibre reinforced industrial components
To formulate a roadmap for the chosen focus areas, a RDI roadmap workshop will be organised on April 15th at 9.30 – 12.00 in Teams. Roadmap work is open for all organisations and will be used to direct future activities in the ecosystem including project preparations.
Workshop develops high level roadmaps for ecosystem RDI themes for target timeframe.
