The mission of CLIC is to create pioneer markets through resource-poor solutions with global scalability. Joint development considerably speeds up the commercial exploitation of research results, converting research into international business.

CLIC coordinates cleantech and bioeconomy portfolios to construct systemic solutions which are beyond the resources of individual operators.

The cluster is a cross-organizational fast-moving network which baseline is collaboration rising from the needs of the industrial and commercial sector, including strategic research, applied research, piloting of new technologies, and demonstration of solutions.

An open innovation cluster with the mission of systemic breakthrough solutions in bioeconomy and cleantech.

The cluster consists of worlds' leading companies (30) and research institutions (17), to which bioeconomy and cleantech markets are important business and competitive factors.
